Tomorrow's Maximum Ultra introduces a new character, one "Hairy Tom" Richardson. Hairy Tom is a member of Squad Eight, otherwise known as the Void Hogs, and also Odlief's boyfriend.
Now, as an organization Maximum Ultra is conceived as a slightly less malevolent version of Cobra (one with, for starters, a coherent ideology). The Void Hogs are basically Dreadnoks, albeit less comical.
And also space bikers. Space biker pirates.

Finished updates 20 and 21 today, which are technically pages 22 and 23. Two upcoming updates (both later this week, actually) are two pages apiece instead of the usual one. This, unfortunately, ate into my buffer a tad. It took me a week to catch up.
Still, I'm pretty proud of myself. I've written and drawn a 22 page comic in the course of a month. Even though the other half of it won't be entirely published until the end of October, I feel really accomplished.
If I can, I want to keep to this schedule - one page published per day most of the month, with two two-page or one three-page update every month. That way I'm effectively publishing a 22-page comic book every month.
(Man, and I've only been doing this one month. No wonder comic professionals are crazy)

We has a new feature! Melissa has added a forum for the ZTC community. Or, to be more accurate, for the fostering thereof.
It's still a little bare-bones for now - we'll add new sub-fora as the need arises.
In other news ... it still needs coloring, but I really think the page for 10/31 is the best thing I've ever drawn. I exist two weeks in the future, suckas!

Behold, as if from the grave, I return and bring thee tidings.
After talking about it for, literally, years, pallas_melissa and I have finally taken the plunge and launched our first webcomic.
Behold, Zombietown Comics! Currently, only Maximum Ultra, the hideous product of my brain squeezings, may be found there, but soon Melissa will have a comic of her own as well.
Maximum Ultra updates Monday through Friday.
